LOVE
What is 'LOVE'? I've been asking myself the same question for quite a long time until one day, the lightning come down on me. Do i take it as the wrong path or is it the right path or is it just a path that leads me somewhere in life?
Love is subjective to individuals but generally, love is a feeling that each individual has from a very young age as a newborn baby. It is a gift that a living thing can have, human being and other creatures alike. For an instant, love is a strong affection for another arising of kinship or personal ties, warm attachment or devotion (taken from Merriam-Webster dictionary).
Let me just narrow it down to what possibly, I am going through. Besides, it's my blog which means a subject to an attachment to my life as well. Today's subject is about 'LOVE'...well, love has always been the subject isn't it? hahaha...
I can never explain when someone ask me about Love or simply when i watch a romantic movie. What is 'Love'? Why do love is considered powerful? Why do we need to be in love? "Never underestimated the power of Love"...
When I go down the memory lane to search what it means, I only see pain and tears. Hurt and disappointment. There were thousands of reasons not to be in 'Love'. And those who have gone through it, tell me not to step into the po0l of love before the time comes, before i am prepared, before i have enough defense to face it. Mostly, the word "never" seems to be conquering the motive of what 'love' is... It seems dangerous.
Out of curiosity, I went on and wonder myself and more or less i learnt bit by bit in a hard way. The pain and suferring i went through. The hurt and disappointment that I could not bare to carry. The worst i fear, happened and the only way out i could think of is run! Run away from Love. Run as far as I could, just run... Run from reality that I am living.
How long and how far can I run? Love will just comes by and sweep me off the ground. I asked, I searched and I went...Once I knew, I ran??And now it's after me? Sounds stupid!! It's either i stay and fight, use the force against itself or i can just run all my life with fear inside of me, let it built a hole and hatred.
I stayed and let it lo0se. Love is blind. Love is simple only we as human make things complex. However, I still cannot explain what is 'love'. Why people cry over love and etc... The only thing i can say is; when you fall in love you will know what it means... Love is what it is that make people think they are such...
Love is beautiful and it's life. It's wonderful and complete that you're amazed with what you've been given. Love can be hurt, pain and suffering. That you will always want to give up and let go. Love is Power and it is complex to understand but those who holds it in their hands with sincerity and pureness of their heart, it will be a little less complex, in fact, it will be simple. Nothing a human going through is ever easy. Love is part of life and concluded to most, is LIFE.
Those who told me and have 'never' in their words... They are just trying to protect me. Protect me from getting hurt as they were once hurt. The fact of life, everyone will have to go through the hurt to understand. It is a gift to have the love...
To me, I won't say, I ch0se either the right or the wrong path... I'd say, i chose the path that leads me to the knowing of a gift being given to me...
